I assisted Parallel Studio to bring Ren Tong’s illustrations to life. Honoring Tong’s particular style and narrative sensibility, the motion needed to balance an ‘ease on the eye’ with a definite vibe and character. Using blended techniques, we found both the tone and subtlety in the motion and how to efficiently produce it.
